TMJ/Jaw Exercise - Clicking Your Tongue

A common issue with jaw and TMJ problems is the movement of the jaw and tongue away from their normal neutral, resting position.

The tongue-clicking exercise (funny as it sounds) helps to return your jaw back into its resting position and restores normal nasal and diaphragmatic breathing. Once you are able to establish this alignment, you should continue to keep your tongue in this neutral position (tongue positioned against your hard palate) as you go about your daily living activities.
